Amy & Nick

After matching on eharmony we couldn’t believe how much we had in common – from camping trips around Australia as children, to both having moved interstate to the same remote mining area, and our love of overseas travel. Now we get to do all the things that we love together, spending as much of our time as possible travelling and hiking. 

We knew from our first five-hour date that we had something, and both drove home feeling so giddy and excited. We had many shared experiences and values, as well as plans for the future. There were so many times that we would just laugh and shake our heads, as we would say the exact same thing at the same time. After dating for 18 months, Nick proposed after a 13km hike in the rain in our favourite National Park. We married at a winery overlooking that beach, and recently, have moved into a beautiful home we built together.
